Meet the Principal

Welcome back Bulldogs!  The Los Cerritos staff is thrilled to welcome you back to another year filled with memorable moments as we learn, grow and create throughout the 2025-2026 school year.We are eager and excited to begin what promises to be a very successful year as we continue to build on the successes of last year when we made improvements in all academic areas and our climate and culture.  At Los Cerritos we show our P.A.W.S by preserving, acting responsible, working with a winning attitude, and striving for success. 

I am fortunate to be able to serve the Los Cerritos community as I embark on my fourth year at Los Cerritos.  I am surrounded by a very dedicated team of educators who are passionate about the success and well-being of each and every child.  Our goal at Los Cerritos is to provide a high-quality education where students feel valued and are provided with the support needed to grow socially and academically.   

We look forward to continuing our partnership with you and would love to have you volunteer at school or on one of our many field trips.  Please consider running for a seat on our School Site Council (SSC) , English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) or joining the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) lead by our President, Mrs. Raquel Sanchez.  Please come by the office to obtain information on how to become a volunteer at Los Cerritos.
